Introduction:

A citizen is a participatory member of a political community. Citizenship is gained by

meeting the legal requirements of a national, state, or local government. A nation grants

certain rights and privileges to its citizens. In return, citizens are expected to obey their

country's laws and defend it against its enemies.


The president is referred to as the first citizen of India. Although vested with these

powers by the Constitution of India, the position is largely a ceremonial one and

executive powers are de facto exercised by the prime minister.


1)What is the meaning of good citizenship?



Good citizenship means to conduct oneself in accordance with the rights, duties, and privileges

of being an inhabitant of a geographical location by means of birth or naturalization.

and better life. We can say that duty is a moral and legal responsibility of a person which he/she

must have to perform towards country. Performing duties towards the nation is the respect of a

citizen towards his/her nation.

There are many ways that you can be a good citizen. Just make sure you work hard, volunteer,

recycle, vote, maybe donate a little to charity, and always have a good attitude. What does a

donates to causes big or small.
